Gabbar is back in a big way with the release of its third installment, Gabbar Is Back. Produced by Pritish Nandy Communications Pvt. Kabir Singh (Akshay Kumar) is an honest and diligent police officer who is dedicated towards his job and fights for justice until one day he arrests Rajguru (Danny Denzongappa), who is the son of a minister (Prakash Raj) involved in illegal businesses. This causes a rift between the two families, and Rajguru's associates plot against him, leading to his arrest. At the same time, Kabir meets Priya (Rekha), who works for his father-in-law Arun (Dharmendra). Kabir develops an attraction towards Priya, but he hides it from her because of his family situation. He hires Arun to find out information on Rajguru. However, Arun is killed after an accident with Kabir's car. Kabir's frame-up is uncovered, and he is released on bail. Not letting go of him, the minister tricks Kabir into being framed for murder. He makes it look as if Rajguru was killed by Kabir. He also frames Priya by having her arrested on charges of being an agent of Kabir Singh. Kabir comes to know about his wife being falsely accused, but he chooses to remain silent so that the minister does not have evidence against him.
